CLOTHING
Children are actively involved in their day, and although precautions
are taken, paints are going to be spilled and puddles are going to be
splashed in. We suggest dressing your child in durable, washable clothes
appropriate for play. All children need to have one complete labeled
change of season appropriate clothing (underwear, socks, shirt,
pants/shorts) in case of an accident. Potty training children should be
provided with at least 2 full sets of clothing.
To reduce the risk of injury, we ask that sneakers or close-toed shoes
be worn. Please avoid wearing open-toed sandals, clogs, or party shoes
as they are often the reason for falls when children are engaged in
gross motor play.
Lastly, the children will go outside daily (weather permitting). Please
dress your child in play clothes which are appropriate for the season.
Hats, mittens, and boots should be sent in daily during winter months.
